Illinois High School Basketball - Peoria Christian knocks off Brimfield
January 7, 2025: Peoria, IL 61603 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) and the visiting Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL), observed Peoria Christian's basketball team overcome Brimfield by a score of 54-36.
The Chargers (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Prairie Central defeated St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL), 62-57, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Friday, January 10. Brimfield will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record.
