High School Basketball - Hillcrest knocks off Tournament Opponent
November 30, 2025: , The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Hillcrest Vikings (Memphis, TN) and the host Tournament Opponent (, ), observed Hillcrest's basketball team overcome Tournament Opponent by a margin of 41-31.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Raleigh-Egypt (Memphis, TN). The Pharaohs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Raleigh-Egypt defeated Melrose (Memphis, TN), 54-52, in a non-league match.
The now own a 18-42 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Heights Christian Academy for a non-league match on Monday, December 1. Tournament Opponent will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
