Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX), 50-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Austin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Alief Taylor (Houston, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Alief Taylor won 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Klein Collins (Spring, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 8. Cypress Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 45-19 non-league win over Waller (Waller, TX).
