The Lewis Cass Kings basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Eastern Comets to 5 in the Kings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Kings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manchester for a Three Rivers contest on Tuesday, November 7. Lewis Cass will meet a Squires team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Wawasee (Syracuse, IN). The Squires record now stands at 0-1.

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Titans enter the Hoosier Heartland contest with a 0-0 record.
