Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) and the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), saw Southwood's basketball squad hold off Eastern by a tally of 30-26.

With the victory, Southwood improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bluffton (Bluffton, IN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Bluffton won 47-44 in their recent league game against Woodlan (Woodburn, IN)

With the defeat, Eastern moves to 3-7 on the year. The Comets travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to face the Argylls in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 12. The Argylls enter the game with a record of 3-6. Madison-Grant won 62-28 in their recent league game against Elwood (Elwood, IN)
