The Cinco Ranch Cougars basketball squad (Katy, TX), was nudged 35-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX)

With the victory, Cypress Ranch advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Eisenhower (Houston, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, November 8. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Eisenhower lost 45-27 in their recent non-league battle against Spring Woods (Houston, TX)
