Copiah Academy Colonels (Gallman, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lamar Christian Lions (Purvis, MS), 70-69 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Copiah Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Colonels travel to Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, November 10. The Eagles enter the outing with a record of 0-0.
