In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Piney Woods Tornadoes (Piney Woods, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS), by a margin of 34-32.

The Tornadoes (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wingfield (Jackson, MS). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record.
