Georgia High School Basketball - Westover nips Monroe

November 7, 2025: Albany, GA 31701

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Westover Patriots basketball team scored a close 60-53 triumph over the Monroe Golden Tornadoes.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lowndes nipped Echols County (Statenville, GA), 50-10, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes battle the Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 15. Monroe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
