The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) and the host New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), witnessed Brookfield's football squad topple New Milford by a tally of 50-21.

With the win, Brookfield advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Weston (Weston, CT) to encounter the Trojans in a South-West bout on Friday, November 14. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Weston lost 41-6 in their recent non-league bout against Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley (Woodbury, CT)

The Green Wave now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stratford for a South-West match on Friday, November 14. New Milford will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-5.
