Connecticut High School Football - Hillhouse held off by Xavier

The Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) football tipped the host Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT), 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harding for a Southern Connecticut outing on Friday, November 14. Xavier will clash with a Presidents squad coming off a 14-7 league loss to Foran (Milford, CT). The Presidents record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Hillhouse drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Academics host Notre Dame (West Haven, CT) to battle the Green Knights in a Southern Connecticut contest on Friday, November 14. The Green Knights enter the contest with a record of 3-5. Notre Dame lost 14-7 in their recent league contest against Shelton (Shelton, CT)
