The Cheshire Rams were winner over the host Xavier Falcons football squad by a margin of 35-7 in Friday's league test.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilford for a Southern Connecticut test on Friday, September 19. Cheshire will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 28-18 non-league win over Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Xavier drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Law (Milford, CT) to meet the Lawmen in a Southern Connecticut test on Friday, September 19. The Lawmen come into the test with a record of 1-0. Law won 48-29 in their recent league challenge against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT)
