November 8, 2025: Fairburn, GA 30213 Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA), 44-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Langston Hughes advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Westlake (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 18. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 6. Greenforest will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
