In Saturday's non-league test, the Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) basketball squad got by the host West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS), by a score of 44-41.

Next, the Dragons encounter the Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 11. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 49-31 non-league loss to Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS).

The Choctaws (0-2) will now prepare for their test against North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North Panola was nudged by Palmer (Marks, MS), 57-47, in a non-league battle.
