November 8, 2025: Evans, LA 70639 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Evans Eagles (Evans, LA) and the visiting Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA), observed Evans's basketball team overwhelm Hackberry by a score of 74-43.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Doyline was crushed by Stanley (Logansport, LA), 63-18, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell City for a non-league battle on Monday, November 10. Hackberry will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 60-47 non-league win over Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-0.
