In Thursday's non-league outing, the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) basketball squad nipped the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), by a margin of 61-58.

The Griffins (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
