New York High School Football - Midwood thwarted by DeWitt Clinton
November 9, 2024: Bronx, NY 10468 DeWitt Clinton Governors (Bronx, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Midwood Hornets (Brooklyn, NY), 38-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, DeWitt Clinton improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Governors travel to Curtis (Staten Island, NY) to play the Warriors in a PSAL 4A battle on Friday, November 15. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Curtis won 24-7 in their recent league battle against Tottenville (Staten Island, NY)
The Hornets now have a 1-7 record.
