The Springfield Spartans tipped the visiting Coventry Comets basketball team by a final score of 44-41 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH) in a Metro game, on Monday, December 5. Springfield will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 60-26 non-league loss to Ellet (Akron, OH).
