The Patton Panthers basketball team (Morganton, NC), was toppled 55-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Newton-Conover was toppled by Hickory (Hickory, NC), 44-38, in a non-league battle.
