Maryland High School Basketball - Bishop McNamara tops Archbishop Spalding
December 1, 2023: Severn, MD 21144 Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD), 75-67 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD) to play the Little Hoyas in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Little Hoyas come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Georgetown Prep won 83-59 in their recent non-league bout against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Father Judge Crusaders (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Archbishop Spalding will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 83-59 non-league loss to Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD).
