Texas High School Basketball - Connally topped by Midlothian Heritage
December 1, 2023: Midlothian, TX 76065 The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Connally Cadets to 48 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Midlothian Heritage will battle a Spartans team coming off a 58-38 non-league win over Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.
The Cadets (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Kaufman dropped by Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX), 64-58, in a non-league contest.
