In Friday's league match, the host West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored a tight 75-71 triumph over the Lake Norman Charter Knights.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. West Rowan will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 69-59 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
