Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) and the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), saw Mountain Island Charter's basketball squad knock off Queen's Grant by a count of 88-79.

With the victory, Mountain Island Charter upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Raptor host Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Valor Preparatory Academy lost 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Charlotte Secondary Phoenix (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 5. Queen's Grant will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.
