The North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team (Huntersville, NC), was nudged 58-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC)

The Rockets now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Norman for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. A.C. Reynolds will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Myers Park edged Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 70-52, in a non-league battle.
