Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) and the host Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), saw Edgewood's basketball squad hold off Palestine by a tally of 51-48.

With the victory, Edgewood improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Palestine will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Mexia (Mexia, TX).
