The Hershey Panthers routed the host Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team by a final score of 64-39 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 3. Hershey will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Swedes enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 48-35 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, NE).

With the defeat, Perkins County moves to 0-1 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a C2 District 11 game on Friday, December 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-0.
