The Sands Mustangs basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Monahans Loboes to 38 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perryton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 2.

The Loboes (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was routed by Montwood (El Paso, TX), 54-12, in a non-league contest.
