Texas High School Basketball - Sands trounces New Deal
December 17, 2021: New Deal, TX 79350 The Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball crushed the host New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 52-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Forsan walloped Water Valley (Water Valley, TX), 45-27, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tahoka for a non-league test on Monday, December 20. New Deal will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Slaton (Slaton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
