Maryland High School Basketball - Annapolis Area Christian overwhelmed by St. Mary's
December 2, 2022: Annapolis, MD 21401 The St. Mary's Saints basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Annapolis Area Christian Eagles to 60 in the Saints league victory on Friday.
The Saints now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop McNamara for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. St. Mary's will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 113-30 non-league win over Avalon (Wheaton, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
The Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings come into the MIAA B contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, St. John's Catholic Prep triumphed over Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
