Maryland High School Basketball - Friends holds off Annapolis Area Christian
February 3, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21210 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Annapolis Area Christian Eagles (Severn, MD), saw Friends's basketball squad hold off Annapolis Area Christian by a tally of 56-52.
With the victory, Friends improves its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Severn School (Severna Park, MD) to confront the Admirals in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Severn School won 47-46 in their recent league challenge against Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD)
Next up, the Eagles confront the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) in a MIAA B challenge, on Monday, February 6. Annapolis Area Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-18 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 76-56 league win over Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD).
