The North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 81-71 in Friday's non-league test.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their test against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, West Lincoln went down by Avery County (Newland, NC), 62-57, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7.
