The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host AZ Compass Prep Dragons to 48 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunrise Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Bishop Walsh will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 54-52 league win over Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-2.

The Dragons (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Imagine Prep (Surprise, AZ). The Storm come into the Canyon Division 3 - Mountain contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Imagine Prep prevailed over East Valley Athletes for Christ (Mesa, AZ), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
