Ohio High School Basketball - Ursuline crushes Girard
December 2, 2022: Youngstown, OH 44505 Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Girard Indians (Girard, OH), 70-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ursuline upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Benedictine (Cleveland, OH) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Benedictine won 43-36 in their recent non-league bout against Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Girard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Badger (Kinsman, OH).
