Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), saw Hough's basketball squad hold off Sun Valley by a tally of 55-53.

With the victory, Hough improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Huskies host Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Cuthbertson lost 60-48 in their recent non-league challenge against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
