In Friday's non-league outing, the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), by a margin of 47-30.

The Cavaliers (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers go into the 4A Conference 58 outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Piedmont thwarted Athens Academy (Athens, GA), 69-45, in a non-league outing.
