The Mechanicsburg Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Spring Grove Rockets to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Lion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
