Louisiana High School Basketball - Southwood nips Anacoco
December 2, 2023: Anacoco, LA 71403 Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), 55-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Southwood upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Huntington (Shreveport, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Huntington won 60-30 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Indians play the Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Anacoco will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 51-41 non-league loss to Elton (Elton, LA).
