Texas High School Basketball - Carter overwhelms Vandegrift
December 2, 2023: Austin, TX 78730 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carter Cowboys (Dallas, TX) and the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), saw Carter's basketball squad wallop Vandegrift by a tally of 47-26.
With the victory, Carter improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Bowie (Austin, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Bowie won 51-22 in their recent non-league challenge against LBJ Austin (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Vipers confront the Leander Lions (Leander, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Vandegrift will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Midway (Waco, TX).
