Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN), 73-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Covington upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Trojans host Western Boone (Thorntown, IN) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Western Boone lost 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Taylor (Kokomo, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 72-43 non-league win over Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN).
