The Ripley Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Covington Chargers to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dyersburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Ripley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 58-51 non-league win over Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

The Chargers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Haywood ran past Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN), 69-58, in a non-league contest.
