December 2, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70117 The Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats basketball team (New Orleans, LA), was overwhelmed 63-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA)
The Pioneers now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a 1A District 10 battle on Monday, December 4. Crescent City Christian will confront a Saints team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Saints record now stands at 5-0.
The Bobcats (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, De La Salle was overwhelmed by Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA), 77-55, in a non-league battle.
