February 8, 2024: Edgard, LA 70049 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA) and the host West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), saw Frederick A. Douglass's basketball squad wallop West St. John by a tally of 69-38.
With the victory, Frederick A. Douglass improves its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to play the Lions in a 4A District 9 challenge on Friday, February 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-21. Booker T. Washington won 51-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Rams play the Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. West St. John will attempt to improve on its 4-21 season record.
