The Matanzas Pirates basketball team (Palm Coast, FL), was toppled 72-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host First Coast Buccaneers (Jacksonville, FL)

The Buccaneers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mandarin for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 6. First Coast will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 70-27 non-league win over Christ's Church Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.

The Pirates (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
