Maine High School Basketball - Cony holds off Cheverus
December 2, 2023: Portland, ME 04103 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) and the host Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME), saw Cony's basketball squad hold off Cheverus by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Cony improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Stags confront the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Cheverus will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
