Indiana High School Basketball - Western can't hold off Oak Hill
December 2, 2023: Russiaville, IN 46979 The Oak Hill Golden Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Western Panthers to 32 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maconaquah for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Oak Hill will battle a Braves team coming off a 24-5 non-league win over Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Braves record now stands at 7-0.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN). The Wildkats come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Kokomo edged Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN), 44-26, in a league contest.
