Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) and the host Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), witnessed Marion's basketball squad hold off Anderson by a count of 63-57.

With the victory, Marion advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Giants travel to Bellmont (Decatur, IN) to meet the Braves in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Braves enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Bellmont lost 63-40 in their recent non-league battle against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Indians now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Harrison for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. Anderson will battle a Raiders team coming off a 55-22 non-league win over Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 3-4.
