In their next game, the Plainsmen face the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 4. Perkins County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 53-41 league win over Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE).

With the defeat, Maxwell moves to 0-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Stapleton/McPherson County (Stapleton, NE) to face the Cyclones in a D1 District 11 game on Saturday, December 4. The Cyclones enter the game with a record of 0-1. Stapleton/McPherson County lost 63-39 in their recent league game against Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE)
