The Western Panthers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Northwestern Tigers to 39 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Western will meet a Hot Dogs team coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN). The Hot Dogs record now stands at 0-1.
