Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) and the host Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX), saw Center's basketball squad hold off Jacksonville by a tally of 53-52.

With the victory, Center improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Central Heights won 55-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hudson (Lufkin, TX)

Next up, the Fightin' Indians confront the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
