Indiana High School Basketball - Eastern Greene holds off Mitchell
December 3, 2022: Bloomfield, IN 47424 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN) and the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), saw Eastern Greene's basketball squad hold off Mitchell by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, Eastern Greene improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to North Knox (Bicknell, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Bluejackets confront the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN).
